How To Install Android 4.2.1 Jelly-bean CM10.1 ROM On Galaxy Tab 8.9

CM10.1 nightlies are the experimental and unstable CM10.1 ROMS, as in, unstable Jelly Bean 4.2.1 ROMS. CM10.1 nightlies have hit a lot of phones already and this time its the tablets turn. By the word tablet, I am excited to tell that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has just got it’s Nightly Built for CM10.1 underway, which means you can now get Jelly Bean 4.2.1 on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.

However, before practically performing the steps given below in order to install Jelly Bean 4.2.1 on your Galaxy Tab 8.9, you must keep in mind that the steps given below will only be pertinent if you have a Rooted Galaxy Tab 8.9 with CWM Recovery installed on it. Moreover, it should also be duly noted that before beginning, you must backup all your important data as we will be wiping out everything before installing Jelly Bean 4.2.1 on Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Preparations and Downloads

Install Jelly Bean 4.2.1 on Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Using CM10.1 Nightly

Step 1  - Connect your device to your PC using a USB Cable.

Step 2 – Copy the Jelly Bean 4.2.1 and Google Apps zip file to the root of your SD Card

Step 3 – Disconnect Your Phone. Then Turn Off your Phone

Step 4 – Boot into Bootloader by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home Button There Select Recovery in order to boot into CWM Recovery.(Use Volume Up and Down to move between the option and Powers Button to
select a specific option)

Step 5 –  Wipe the Data

Step 6 – Go to >flash zip from SD card>choose zip from sdcard and now select the Jelly Bean 4.2 AOKP zip file

Step 7 – Wait for the process to complete, then repeat the step 6 but this time select the Google Stock Apps zip file

Step 8– > Now at last go to”+++++Go Back++++++” >”Reboot System Now

After a while, your Galaxy Tab 8.9 will boot into Jelly Bean 4.2.1 as CM10.1 and now you will be able to taste Jelly Bean 4.2.1 on your Galaxy Tab 8.9. Please +1 us on Google plus as a thanks
