How To Root Samsung Galaxy S2 On Android 4.1.2 XXLSJ [Tutorial]

Few days back we wrote a guide for the leaked firmware of Samsung Galaxy S2 for Android 4.1.2 Jelly-Bean, Not that you have updated your phone you may want it to be rooted, today this tutorial will guide you how to root your Galaxy S2 On Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXLSJ Custom firmware. Previously for the official leaked firmware XXLSJ for Galaxy S2 we used Siyah kernel to root Samsung Galaxy S2 but now few users reported that it doesnt work, Now we will use Philz CWM kernel which surely works on Android 4.1.2 XXLSJ for Galaxy S2. Samsung-Galaxy-S2 As you read on we will guide you to how to root Samsung Galaxy S2, Please read the precautionary measures before attempting. This method will wipe off all your data from Galaxy S2 so before proceeding please make a backup of your important data.

How To Root Samsung Galaxy S2 On Android 4.1.2 XXLSJ firmware -

Step 1 – Extract the zip file package to your computer and connect your Galaxy S2 with your P.C through usb cable.

Step 2 – Switch off your phone, And reboot it into download mode, to do so you will need to press and hold volume down + Home button together and press the Power button simultaneously till you see an Android logo on your screen.

Step 3 – Now Open Odin, One of the ID:COM boces will be yellow this verifies that your phone is successfully connected to your computer.

Step 4 –  Now click on PDA and select the .TAR file in the package you downloaded.

Step 5 – Like the picture Check Auto reboot and F.Reset Time.

Step 6 – Hit start button and installation will start.

Step 7 – This might take some time, after installation has finished your phone will reboot, First reboot may take some time. Congrats, you have successfully rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXLSJ firmware, To check your phone is rooted or not you can visit ” How To Check Whether Your Android Device Is Rooted or Not “,

      well do you also have cwm instaled? because i can boot in cwm? and i need cwm for the custum 4.1.2 from omega there ar no buggs in there andw the battery life form omega is one time highter than this stock rom

    Guys WTF ? I have made all, step by step and now when phone reboots it shows yellow triangle , but i checked it was not rooted ?

    this doesn’t work for me, my phone stuck on the logo ( developers logo), tried several times but no luck, search on the internet and fine another software which work for me.

    I have done the tutorial step by step and now when phone reboots it shows yellow triangle,Confirmed that CWMis installed but it was not rooted ?
